We are a body waxing & skin care services studio seeking a Sales Associate. This position will be the face of selling memberships to our clients. Read on if you can be motivated, confident, and kind to achieve the best results possible.

SCHEDULE

This IS NOT a seasonal/temporary position.

This is a part-time set schedule and is not negotiable to change unless the business needs change.

Minimum of 22 to Maximum of 29 hours per week.

• Tuesday-Friday starting at 1:00 PM and ending between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM (With a 30-minute unpaid lunch).
• Saturdays starting at 8:45 AM and ending between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM (With a 1-hr unpaid lunch).

PAY

Base Commission Bonus.

Base pay: $17 per hour.

We pay Bonus/Commissions on:

• Membership Sales.
• Product Sales.
• Rebook Percentages.
• Retention bonus paid at 6 months depending on performance.

Selling is the core responsibility of this position, and a person must be motivated, enthusiastic, and have initiative to reach goals every day on shift.

• This person does not disturb clients or the team with drama, but instead communicates in a professional and respectful manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Selling memberships to clients see below for more details.
• Selling products to clients (COMMISSION and/or BONUS PAID).
• Upselling services and enhancements to complement booked service(s).
• Supporting the rest of the team in sales support.
• Rescheduling clients with the goal to rebook at least 75% of all clients who complete a service (BONUS PAID).
• Reports directly to Manager and Leadership.
• Greeting all clients with absolute acceptance and kindness.
• Educate clients about our service offerings.
• Checking clients in and completing service and retail transactions.
• Scheduling clients for appointments by phone, text, or in-person.
• Resolving client issues in a calm and professional manner.
• Conduct daily in and outbound client calls.
• Follow up and follow through with lapsed clients by phone/text.
• Follow up with first time clients via phone/text.
• Assisting Estheticians with product dispense.
• Assisting with cleaning of service rooms when needed.
• Cleaning all areas of the studio including lobby, hallway, bathroom, and breakroom through daily checklists.
• Participating in marketing and outreach events.
• Creation of one 10-15 second Instagram story per workday.
• Key holder: Closing duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

Selling Memberships:

• Speaking to every client about membership benefits.
• Signing clients up for memberships (BONUS PAID).
• Following up with clients about membership status.
• Following up on prospective clients to sign up for a membership.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have 1 years of work experience.
• Sales experience a plus.
• Effective communication skills including, but not limited to excellent customer service, which includes being kind and keeping a professional composure when speaking with clients, team members, and Leadership.
• Must be able to 100% commit to the schedule for the foreseeable future.
• Computer skills: Knowledge of Mac OS a plus (We run on Apple).
• Knowledge of Zenoti scheduling software a plus.
• And INITIATIVE to come to work every day ready to SELL.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Occasional required lifting up to 25lbs.
• Walking and moving about on foot to accomplish tasks.
• Use hand, finger, and wrist movements frequently.
