Seeking Mid-level Database Engineer or Systems Engineer with strong DBA experience. Work on a small team that maintains multiple production and development databases in a unique and lively customer focused environment. The candidate will be a part of a team that provides support to multiple organizations from a central location, with no travel requirements. This is an exciting and mission critical program with high visibility and a proven track record of success.

Security Clearance Requirements:

This position requires candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess a TS/SCI Security Clearance with an appropriate Polygraph 

Responsibilities

• Provide support to existing database servers by performing routine maintenance to include Administration, patching, system security compliance actions.
• Maintain multiple database clusters and provide direct support to system administrators and developers by creating SQL queries and modifying existing queries to accommodate operational changes.
• Create and modify stored procedures in existing databases as required by various development teams.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft SQL Server and the MSQL Server Management Studio tool set.
• Assist developers with designing databases to include database schema development and view design.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• Five (5) to Ten (10) experience and a DBA or DBE with a Security (CE) certification.
• Any of the following certifications would be highly desirable:
  • Microsoft Certifiedd Solutions Expert – Database (MCSE‐DB)
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional – MS SQL Server (Database Developer 2008)

Required Certifications (possess and maintain one of the following)

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert - Database (MCSE-DB)
• Microsoft Certified IT Professional - MS SQL Server (Database Developer 2008)
• IBM CASA Lotus Notes/Domino (LND)
