ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Obtains a complete and comprehensive patient history.
• Trauma informed transabdominal and transvaginal pelvic ultrasounds.
• Each ultrasound is scheduled for 30 - 60 minutes for the ability to provide trauma informed care.
• Operates ultrasound machine competently to provide quality diagnostic studies.
• Performs various diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by the provider while meeting the requirements of established ultrasound protocols.
• Documents quality images including pathology noted during real time scanning.
• Ability to evaluate for and determine appropriate normal and abnormal diagnosis for ultrasound studies.
• Assisting in ultrasound guided procedures as necessary including but not limited to IUD insertions and IUD removals.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience in related field
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree
• Required minimum 2 years of OBGYN imagining and working with patients who are survivors of trauma.
• CRT - OB/Gyn (OB) - ARDMA American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
• Experience with GE ultrasound machines preferred but not required

This position is part time working 8-12 scheduled hours per week. Likely two half days per week, flexible. No weekends. No holidays. No call.
