As the International OB Concierge, you will be responsible to coordinate the obstetrics care of our Portuguese-speaking patient population for the entirety of their care journey, from the set-up of the initial appointment, through the duration of their care with our group. You will be a primary contact for these patients via phone, email, and direct messaging.

• Patient intake which includes gathering patient information, demographics, and any necessary medical records.
• Prepping medical charts per direction from the physicians and Clinical Manager.
• Registration of any patient accounts as needed.
• Appointment scheduling and follow up of patients through various methods of contact, such as, WhatsApp, phone calls, emails, etc.
• Coordination of virtual visits.
• Answering patient phone calls and addressing questions or concerns, forwarding issues to appropriate departments, and coordinating follow up to patient.
• Act as chaperone during visits when needed.
• Acting as liaison between the hospital finance department and the patient; provide financial counseling as needed. Work closely with the Billing Coordinator for various prices and billing practices.
• Consistent communication with the Patient Access Manager to ensure that there is awareness of any challenges and any needed changes to the workflows.
• Assist with standard check in and registration processes for additional patients outside of the international OB program.

• Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• MUST be fluent in English and Portuguese (both spoken and written).
• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a medical office setting; OB/GYN preferred.
• Computer proficient and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Experience working with an electronic health records system a plus, specifically eClinicalWorks.
• Ability to balance multiple tasks and prioritize as needed.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a customer-centric mindset.
• Must be polished and professional in appearance and demeanor.
• Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
