Role Summary:

Wolfe, a leading company in the gift card production industry, is embarking on an ambitious journey towards revolutionizing our fulfillment center through the implementation of robotics automation. This initiative will increase our production capacity of the current human-operated fulfillment center to the next level. By leveraging advanced robotics technology, Wolfe aims not only to enhance efficiency and precision in gift card production but also to redefine the standards of the industry.
We are seeking a visionary Vice President of Supply Chain to spearhead our fulfillment center as well as robotics automation initiative in Pittsburgh, PA. This leadership role is specifically crafted for an individual with deep expertise in fulfillment, supply chain management, and product management, coupled with a pioneering spirit capable of implementing robotics and automation solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in this transformative phase, leading the transition from human-operated processes to an automated, robotics-driven production line. This is an on-site position requiring strategic foresight, operational acumen, and the ability to drive innovation within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of the robotics automation initiative, which will augment our current fulfillment center with a 2nd technologically advanced, fully automated production facility.
  • Collaborate closely with one of our software engineering teams, Foundations, to design, implement, and optimize robotics solutions that aligns with our production and fulfillment goals. Lead product roadmap planning to deliver increased functionality and greater efficiencies to the fulfillment process.
  • Manage both fulfillment centers and the entire supply chain process, ensuring a seamless transition to automation while maintaining operational efficiency, product quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Deliver operational excellence within both fulfillment environments, overseeing inventory control, supply planning, and logistics to meet evolving market demands.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and technology partners to ensure the successful integration of automation technologies and meet the fulfillment needs of the Strategic Business Units (SBU’s)
  • Lead, mentor, and build a team capable of supporting the new automated processes, while improving efficiencies and productivity within our human centric fulfillment center.

Qualifications:

  • Strong alignment to our mission and core values with an ability to lead by example.
  • Over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in product management, supply chain management and fulfillment operations. Exposure to robotics and automation is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in managing an industry leading supply chain network in terms of output, quality and operational efficiency.
  • Product management expertise in a supply chain oriented role.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven track record of utilizing data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering collaboration and innovation across teams and departments.
