As an Infrastructure Engineer for Wodify, you will be an integral part of our growing Product & Development team. You’ll collaborate with product managers, engineers and infrastructure operations to help ensure the backbone of our products is performant, stable and scalable. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain the performance of database and front end application servers.
• Analyze and maintain AWS infrastructure including Windows and Linux resources.
• Manage database and AWS access.
• Create backups and apply patches as needed.
• Design processes for optimizing database and server security.
• Develop, review, and execute disaster scenario ‘fire drills’.
• Achieve expertise with Outsystems (internal low code tool) infrastructure best practices.
• Install, upgrade, and manage database applications.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.
• Recommend and implement relevant DevOps and other automation technologies.
• Available for on-call support as needed.
• Expectation of some “off-hours” availability for maintenance and software releases.

 Qualifications/Skills:

• Strong expertise of AWS Services, including; EC2, ECS, EBS, Key Pairs, Certificate Manager, and Auto Scaling Groups
• Command of MS SQL Server and MS SQL Server tools
• Strong Powershell and/or Bash scripting experience
• Experience in setting up and configuring MS SQL Server in clustered and non-clustered environments
• Experience with SQL Disaster Recovery scenarios
• Must live and work in pacific standard time or mountain standard time zone.
• Familiarity with Software Delivery Life Cycle processes
• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
• Experience with Datadog would be a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
