The Parts Runner will play a crucial role in assisting our dealership's parts department by providing exceptional service in delivering automotive parts to our technicians in the shop. This is a great entry level position to learn parts and service in one of the largest Toyota dealerships in New England. No experience necessary.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering parts to our technicians in the shop.
• Putting away stock parts.
• Accuracy and Organization: Verify the accuracy and completeness of each delivery against corresponding invoices and ensure proper documentation is maintained for all deliveries.
• Inventory Management: Assist in the organization, labeling, and stocking of incoming parts within the dealership's parts department, ensuring a neat and accessible inventory system.
• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction through prompt and courteous service delivery.
• Communication: Effectively communicate any issues, delays, or concerns encountered during deliveries to the parts department, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety standards while driving and during deliveries, ensuring the safety of oneself, customers, and other road users at all times.
• Teamwork: Collaborate with the parts department team, offering support and assistance when needed to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience as a parts runner or in a similar automotive role is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with automotive parts and components is a plus.
• Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
• Must be able to lift at a minimum of 60 lbs.
