Description
The Teller Supervisor manages and coordinates all Teller functions in the Winona market. Conducts staff training to new hires with annual updates to all applicable staff. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state compliance regulations.

Regular contact with clients and co-workers. Regular contact with suppliers/vendors. Occasional contact with federal and state regulatory agencies. Works regularly with highly confidential business and client information. Occasionally participates in bank committees and events.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Requires associate degree in finance, business, or equivalent experience plus 2 years supervisory experience. 2 years of Teller, banking, or retail experience. Must possess: excellent ability to analyze, communicate, and make recommendations effectively regarding regulatory laws and guidance to coworkers, management and directors; highly effective problem solving, technical research, and follow-through skills. Must possess: courteous and professional customer service attitude; excellent verbal communication skills and strong written communication skills; ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential client and Bank information. Must possess technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information; basic mathematical skills up to and including decimals; legible handwriting; ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress that can change hourly depending on level of client activity; effective problem solving skills.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed largely in an office environment with minimal chance for personal injury. Regular contact with co-workers and clients. Regular mental and visual concentration for computer usage required. Occasional use of telephone. Frequent repetitive use of keyboard for approximately 6 hours per day; frequent repetitive handling and grasping of currency. Requires ability to receive and provide detailed information through verbal communication. Requires near-, mid-range, and far vision; color vision, and field of vision. Will alternate sitting, standing, and walking throughout work shift. Bend, stoop, turn, lift and carry up to 50 pounds of currency, documents, and office supplies. Occasionally push up to 300 pounds of coin. Occasional exposure to noise associated with drive-up equipment. Occasional exposure to significant work pace. Hours of work are generally during regular business hours. There will be some variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, community events, alarm/security calls, and other concerns.
Equipment Used:
Operates personal computer in a Windows environment for word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, internet, and other bank specific software. Operates on the Silverlake core banking system. Utilizes a variety of office equipment including: computer printer, ten-key calculator, copy machine, cash/coin counting machines, coin wrapper, drive-up equipment, and multi-line telephone. Regular operation of vault and alarm system and occasional operation of money cart.
