Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our Wittmann USA team. As an Electronics Technician, you will perform troubleshooting and repair of electronic devices and quality testing of cables and assemblies.
Duties:
a. Repair of Electronic Devices primarily to the module level, this includes Robot Pendants, FVD, Servo Drives. Occasional board level repair.
b. Troubleshooting of Electronic Equipment and Devices.
c. Read and comprehend circuit diagrams and manuals.
d. Testing and QC of Cables and Electrical Assembly.
e. Use various tools including soldering equipment, Multimeter, Drive Test Station, and Cable Tester.
f. Estimate damage and costs of repairs.
g. Develop cable test modules and procedures.
h. Develop testing standards.
i. Assemble and connect system components.
j. Collaborates with engineers and other coworkers.
k. Maintaining logs that provide dates and details of repairs performed.
l. Manage schedule of repairs and QC tests.
m. Maintains Inventory of require components for repairs.
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
- Familiarity with low voltage systems and electrical components
- Experience in equipment repair and troubleshooting
- Proficient in using hand tools and specialized testing equipment
- Mechanical knowledge for disassembling and reassembling electronic devices

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Electronics or related field preferred
- Certification in electronics or relevant technical training is a plus
