ResponsibilitiesThe Pipe Layer will operate an excavation machine to install the main sewer and water lines. In a timely matter with quality workmanship.
- Must be willing to learn and follow safety measures, be a self-starter, open to continual learning, follow directions, and work well as a team!
- A minimum of 1 year of heavy equipment operation preferred
- 3-5 years of residential water and sewer line repairs and replacements preferred
- Trenchless water and sewer experience is a plus!
- A demonstrated interest in the residential plumbing industry.
- Class A CDL in VA or CDL learners permit and can obtain Class A license within 90 days.
- Must be able to operate an excavator at the professional level.
- Assist in the installation of underground piping.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment on transport trailers according to DOT guidelines.
- Experience in working with open trenches and deep trench equipment.
- Effective and professional communication skills.
- Clean driving record - no more than 1 moving violation in 3 years
- Clean background check and acceptable work/character references.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
