Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to join our Wise Center for Plastic Surgery team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and assisting with medical and cosmetic procedures
- Assist physician, nurse practitioner, and skin care specialist in a variety of aesthetic treatments
- Assist with minor surgical procedures and wound care
- Conduct laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis
- Provide patient education on various health topics and assist with referrals to specialists
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in performing basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and conducting laboratory tests
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
