Position Description
10 Years Running Top Workplace looking for a dedicated Quality Tech to join our quality team to support growth in our sheet metal fab/weld department. We are looking for a motivated individual who has an interest in getting into a quality/inspection role and is willing to learn. Ideal candidates will have at least some other manufacturing background or quality experience in a different industry. We are willing to consider other candidates with a quality mindset and interest in being hands on.Flexible 1st shift hours, unique manufacturing work culture, fast paced and fun!
Starting pay will be assessed based on either welding or inspection/quality related experience. Willing to train those without formal quality/inspection experience but have hands on welding experience.

Specific/Primary Responsibilities:
• Position will be primarily focused on leading visual/hands on inspection processes for welding, subcontracting & other sheet metal operations
• Assist in preparing first-article, in-process, final, & other required inspection paperwork as needed
• Assist in final/in process inspection for our production weld cell, & all fabrication work cells
• Hands on dimensional inspection using bench/standard measuring tools as needed
• Work with department/cells leads & production to ID and correct areas of non-conformance
• Assist in maintaining calibration system/processes
Position Requirements:
• Some prior experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
