The Engineer maintains the operations and maintenance function for the Engineering Department in accordance with hotel standards to ensure the maximum comfort, satisfaction, and safety of hotel guests.

Essential Functions:

• This essential role is responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the facility in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver memorable experiences for our guests.
• You begin each day by walking through the hotel looking for anything that needs attention or is out of place.
• Using your knowledge, skills, and eye for detail, you will complete preventative maintenance tasks in vacant guest rooms and public spaces.
• You are quick to help guests resolve any issue that may arise during their stay.
• Daily rounds, checklists, preventative maintenance program, and maintaining the hotel equipment are all part of the day to day.
• Assist and serve guests in a courteous manner, ensuring the finest hospitality and professionalism.

• Minimum of High School education, post-high school education preferred
• Minimum of 2 years in maintenance position, preferably within hotels
• Preferred but not necessary: Two (2) years of college or trade school equivalent in a mechanical, electrical,

Physical Requirements

You can lift/push/pull up 75 lbs., and are able to bend, twist, squat, reach and walk with ease. Duties of this position require an individual to use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb a ladder, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The individual may be required to sit for extended periods of time, but must have the capability to walk and move. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
