Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, providing product information, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Duties:
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Assist customers in finding products and making purchasing decisions
- Demonstrate product features and benefits through product demos
- Process sales transactions accurately using the cash register and POS system
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stock shelves and merchandise products
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy
- Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
Qualifications:
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Previous experience in jewelry sales is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate product information to customers
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a wireless or technology sales environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with customers
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
- Knowledge of POS systems and cash register operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.35 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
