Responsibilities:

• Month end close processes including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, account analysis; ensure deadlines are met
• Manage Accounts Payable process & staff
• Collaborate with and support operating departments to assist operations attain objectives and ensure accounting procedures are updated for changes in the business
• Perform financial statement analysis to support monthly close process and management objectives
• Ensure accounting policies, procedures and controls are maintained and updated as needed with a goal of ensuring financial statement accuracy and completeness
• Compliance and regulatory responsibilities in support of audits, tax returns, and other requirements
• Research technical accounting guidance and document application to Wire 3
• Ad hoc analysis and reporting, support Controller and CFO as needed
• Drive continual process improvement and efficiency, participate in special projects and system implementations as needed
• Reports to Controller

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, experience in public accounting preferred
• Technical accounting skills, including knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient in accounting software and systems, with a keen aptitude for learning new technologies, experience with ‘Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central’ a plus
• Strong Excel and data management skills
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a team
• Time management skills in a fast-paced environment, with excellent attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines is required
• Experience in manufacturing industry a plus
