SUMMARY:  WinTec Arrowmaker, Inc. is a defense contractor dedicated to providing outstanding program management, engineering, logistics, and operations support to Department of Defense customers. The Senior Systems Admin/JIRA will apply experience with monitoring system performance and network communication to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to resolve them. The Senior Systems Admin/JIRA shall install operating systems and software in Windows and Linux environments, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and coordinate with security personnel to maintain system security compliance, while reporting directly to the WinTec Program Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Communicates with internal and client project team members.
• Works to implement solution designs and/or processes.
• Install operating systems and software in Windows and Linux environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Coordinate with security personnel to maintain system security compliance.
• Setup and maintain user accounts on systems and cloud consoles/portals.
• Monitor system performance and network communication to identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to resolve them.
• Design and implement a backup and recovery policy.
• Document system architectures and user policies on internal Wiki.
• Research upcoming technologies and develop plans for implementation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with Air Force/DOD experience -OR- have Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a related discipline with an additional 5 Air Force/DOD experience.

• JIRA/Confluence experience.
• Experience with Air Force ISR units.
• Experience performing administration and support to Enterprise Project Management System.
• Experience with system administration of Windows and Linux.
• Experience supporting Air Force ISR operations.
• Experience using relevant AF systems and databases.
• Knowledge of military policies and procedures relating to information technology.
• Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II Compliant (Security ).

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Military background or familiarity with military command and control structures.
• Possess a working knowledge of the organizational interface of military, federal, state, and local agencies. 
• Demonstrate time management, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
• Ability to efficiently react to shifting program requirements and work in a team environment.
• Effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
