Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Counter Sales Representative. As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their purchases. The position requires an understanding of the HVAC industry as far as sales and some technical, equipment and parts knowledge. The position can lead to outside sales possibly and if interested.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist customers in selecting the right products based on their needs
- Assist in warranty processing and paperwork
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
- Work closely with outside sales staff as well warehouse management
- Maintain a clean and organized sales counter area as well as showroom restocking.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
- Upsell additional products or accessories to enhance the customer's experience
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the HVAC industry as well as sales.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and calculating discounts or promotions
- Knowledge of retail math concepts such as profit margins and markups is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings as needed
- Able to adapt and wear different hats to do what ever it takes in helping fellow colleagues

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
