Job Listing: Systems/Network Administrator

We need an IT wizard. Winston is looking for a Systems/Network Administrator to flex their IT muscles.

Winston is a hometown Louisville business that’s been here for over 50 years. We are leaders in foodservice technology. But our success is built on caring for people - our customers, partners, and team members. We’re looking for the right person to help us grow.

What will I really be doing?

You will help maintain Winston’s network and its components, provide help desk support to our team, and keep our workstations, laptops, and servers in tip-top shape.

Our ideal candidate enjoys working alone and with a team and is a stickler for system security. You’ll work closely with the IT team to keep the network and systems humming.

You may occasionally work beyond regular working hours, on weekends, or holidays. But that’s the exception, not the rule. You’ll occasionally be on-call, but we share that responsibility by rotating the on-call duties.

What kind of experience is required?

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. You’ll have experience in networking and a solid knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise software. You’re also experienced with Enterprise Linux-based applications. We utilize Epicor as our ERP system, so Epicor experience is a plus.

Are there any other qualities that I need?

You’ll need to be a creative thinker and a natural at problem-solving. You’re good at multitasking and time management. You’re a good communicator, virtually, on the phone, and in person. You have a solid work ethic and play well with others. You know the devil is in the details, so strive for accuracy. A positive attitude is essential – nobody wants a Debbie Downer on their team. And a good sense of humor goes a long way. We have work to do, but we like to have fun doing it.
