Quality Control Inspector

Essential Functions:

• Developing and maintaining a quality assurance program for a restaurant or food service operation.
• Evaluating the quality of food served by the restaurant or food service operation.
• Evaluating the cleanliness of equipment, utensils and work areas of a restaurant or food service operation.
• Helping with the recruiting process.
• Observing and correcting customer service.
• Fix criticle issues.
• Establish and enact the Inspection Plan.
• Determining and ensuring that customer requirements are met
• Keep a performance record of quality reports, statistical reviews and other activities.
• Keeping an eye on the goal of increasing the company's profitability. (Top Gun)
• Assisting with the development of policies and procedures to ensure that the food served is safe, of the correct quality, and meets all regulatory requirements.
• Coordinates training and therapy to provide employees with quality standards and assistance when they're not meeting goals.
• Conducts hazard analyses and monitors quality measures to setthe standard for quality assurance.
• Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments
• Perform cycle counting and audits on incoming shipments
• Inspect product components that do not come from a quality-controlled source
• Audit processing for errors or defects
• Assist in the audit of incoming raw materials.
• Perform restaurant inspection, follow up to resolve listed in inspections.

PREREQUISITES:

Qualification and Skills

• A bachelor’s or associate degree
• Restaurant management experience preferred
• Strong technical and computer skills
• Excellent data review and analysis abilities
• Problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Restaurant management: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
