Wingspan Life Resources is Hiring a DSP - $1,500 New Hire Incentive - PT Weekend Near Saint Paul, MN

Direct Support Professional (DSP) - $18.55/hr
Wingspan Life Resources has a part-time weekend opening for a caring and committed Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide services to people with developmental and other disabilities in one of our group homes in the Saint Paul and Minneapolis metro area. Experience is not required and paid training is provided.
Sleep shift rates are $17.49/hour.
New Hire Incentive Bonus:
New hires can take advantage of our $1500 sign-on bonus for all of our DSP positions: $500 after the first 4 months of service, $500 again after 8 months, and an additional $500 after 1 year. Take some time to get to know our clients and organization; we think you'll love the experience!
What You Will Do:
DSPs are the foundation of Wingspan’s services. DSPs assist residents with daily routines, home care, and medical administration. They build relationships, implement individual program plans, participate with our clients in recreational activities, and perform other duties as necessary. Direct Support Professionals are responsible to protect and promote the health, safety and well-being of each individual.
Generous Benefits Package:
Employees scheduled to work 20 hours or more are offered: PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.
Employees scheduled to work 30 hours or more are offered: Medical and Dental Insurance, PTO Accrual, Company Paid Life, Short-term, Long-term disability insurance, and enrollment in our 401(k) plan fully vested and matched at 4%.
Our Hiring Process:

Qualifications:
  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate, read, and write in English
  • Must be comfortable using a computer
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lb
  • Ability to complete tasks such as shoveling, mowing, vacuuming, shopping, and pushing a wheelchair.
  • The ability to successfully pass a background check as determined by the Department of Human Services
  • A valid Driver's License, reliable transportation with proof of auto insurance, and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Check
  • The ability to have passion for helping individuals feel happy, successful, and safe in their lives is highly desired.
