Wingate Companies, a National Property Management Company, seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician for a small residential portfolio in Lowell, MA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily maintenance which also requires on call rotation for emergencies. We are seeking a candidate that has had apartment community experience.

Individual should have experience in maintenance which will include but is not limited to knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, light electrical, basic carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance in a residential community setting.

The Maintenance Technician will also be responsible for the completion of routine and preventive maintenance programs at the direction of the Property Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor. The candidate should also possess strong customer service skills and professionalism to deal effectively with residents, vendors, supervisors, and co-workers.

This position requires ability to interpret specifications, lift 50lbs unassisted, walk up stairs while carrying tools, and operate and repair light equipment. Must be available for on-call rotation after hours and weekends. The ideal candidate should live within 30 minutes of the property. Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
