Wingate Companies, a National Property Management Company, seeks an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a small portfolio in Fitchburg, MA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily maintenance at our residential apartment buildings.

The successful candidate must have experience with building and maintenance systems, as well as a solid knowledge of heating, plumbing, light electrical, basic carpentry, painting, and other general maintenance in a residential community setting.

This person will assist and be responsible for the completion of routine and preventive maintenance programs at the direction of the Property Manager.

The candidate should also possess strong customer service skills and professionalism to deal effectively with residents, vendors, supervisors, and co-workers.

This position requires ability to interpret specifications, lift 50lbs unassisted, walk up stairs while carrying tools, and operate and repair light equipment. Must be available for on-call rotation after hours and weekends. The ideal candidate should live within 30 minutes of the property. Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
