Windstream Services, LLC is Hiring a Director-Field Operations Near Lexington, KY

Manages and supports local operations managers and operations support staff; monitors and controls expenses; coordinates building and grounds projects and upkeep; manages functions involving installation and repair service, central office maintenance, monitors and provides employee safety adherence, training, development, rewards, recognition, and discipline; provides budget input; secures personnel; provides coordination with both field and corporate staffs; prepares and makes presentations; promotes positive company image to the public and to all employees; performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.What You'll Do:Manages and supports local operations managers and operations support staff; ensures that all employees are kept up to date on all changes in procedures, promotions, and products; handles customer problems and complaints as required; assists in disciplinary actions with employees as required; completes performance evaluations for local managers and operations support staff; reviews and approves evaluations on all operations employees.Monitors and encourages technicians: Monitors sales progress and provides support and incentives to the team members; creates and supports sales promotions of new and existing products, initiates actions and programs for technicians; uses specialized reports, programs, and procedures to motivate employees to improve results.Coordinates building and grounds projects and upkeep: performs periodic inspections of land and buildings.Monitors and controls expenses: Reviews and approves requisitions, approves invoices and expenses, approves major vehicle repairs; monitors the monthly financial reports to ensure expenses are being accounted correctly: coordinates efforts to control all expenses, including the review of the monthly financial analysis.Manages functions involving installation and repair service, central office maintenance; analyzes trouble patterns and repeat reports to reduce the number of troubles and repeat reports; initiate actions and programs for trouble reductions; monitors customer service reports to improve the efficiency of the work group and improve customer service; reviews management reports; coordinates, participates in, and responds to PSC audits, and evaluations; monitors major OSP maintenance projects; coordinates efforts to improve CSI results.Monitors employee safety adherence, training, development, rewards, and recognition; reviews all accident reports and investigations; schedules and recommends employee training; develops specialized reports and programs to increase productivity.Provides budget input: Prepares operating and capital budget inputs; reviews and approves inputs initiated by Local Managers and other departments.Must provide and maintain the following skills: motivational, sound management, excellent written and verbal communication, mentoring, support, decision making in timely manner, team building, creativity, and enthusiasm.Promotes a positive company image to Windstream employees, city, county, state, and federal officials, and local customers; assists in Windstream sponsored community projects and participates in civic clubs.Performs other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.Minimum QualificationsDesired Qualifications: College degree and 8 years professional level experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or 12 years professional level related experience with 3-4 years supervisory experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related experience desired.
