Overview: This entry-level position will be responsible for handling technical support issues throughout the company. The position will also assist the department on various projects as needed. This position is ideal for individual’s pursuing education in an IT-related field and is flexible around class schedules. Can be classified as an internship for those needing real-world experience as part of an educational program.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
• Offer daily operations and systems support to office staff and production operations
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
• Assists users with desktop applications, hardware and software problems, and training
• Assists the department in maintaining an inventory of all devices & software
• Assists System Administrators and IT Department on various projects
• Demonstrates a passionate attitude and exemplifies company culture
• Willingness to grow, develop and learn while also bringing new contributions to the IT team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 & 11
• Prior computer support experience preferred
• Prefer students working towards degree in IT related field who desire internship experience. Position is able to work around class and school schedules.
• Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
• Prior Helpdesk experience

WORK CONDITIONS

Subject to normal office, warehouse and production environment

• Subject to high noise levels where hearing protection is required and all personnel protective equipment is required
• Subject to atmospheric conditions, such as fumes, odors, powders, dust and other particles.
• Ability to lift up to 20lbs occasionally when moving computer equipment
