Overview:
We are seeking a Shop Technician to join our team. As a Shop Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical tasks and providing excellent customer service. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to automotive repair, tire service.
- Use power tools and specialized equipment to complete tasks
- Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed
- Assist customers with inquiries, provide recommendations, and ensure their satisfaction
- Operate a forklift to move vehicles or parts as needed
Skills:
- Basic automotive repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Excellent customer service skills to interact with clients effectively
- Detail-oriented with the ability to diagnose problems accurately
- Strong communication skills to explain repairs or recommendations to customers
