Wilson's Constant Care, LLC is Hiring a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Near Salem, NC

*Qualified Mental Health Professional (QP) for a Residential Level III Facility for Females

Education Requirements:

**

  • A graduate of a college or university with a Masters degree in a human service field and has one year of full-time, post-graduate degree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served; or**
  • A graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in a human service field and has two years of full-time, post-bachelor’s degree accumulated mh/dd/sa experience with the population served; or**
  • Experience as a Qualified Mental Health Professional for a minimum of two years.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Write and Implement new PCP (Personal Center Plans) from the CCA and monthly updates of the PCP.
  • Shall perform clinical and administrative responsibilities a minimum of 10 hours each week; and
  • Conduct Group therapy for a minimal of four hours a week.
  • 70% of the time shall occur when children or adolescents are awake and present in the facility.
  • Supervision of the associate professional(s) and pp (para professionals) - providing monthly supervision or as needed.
  • Complete NC Topps required by the MCOs and the state.
  • Conduct routine observation of staff to ensure quality of service delivery.
  • Oversight of emergencies; to act as the First Responder 365/24/7 in time of crisis.
  • Provision of direct psychoeducational services to children or adolescents;
  • Provision of basic case management functions.
  • Shall demonstrate knowledge, skills and abilities required by the population served.
  • Comply with state requirements when they are established.
  • Write and conduct Performance Evaluations
  • Direct care and supervision of residential clients
  • Conduct on-going assessment of client’s treatment needs.
  • Participate in the development of treatment plans.
  • Write and Implement treatment plan (PCP) strategies in order to achieve client goals.
  • Evaluate client’s progress toward accomplishing goals.
  • Teach and implement the program Behavior Management System.

Job Type: Part-time
