POSITION SUMMARY
The purpose of this position is to be the welcoming individual that visitors and guests at the facility meet when coming to the Center or when calling to the facility. The Office Manager also engages in Utilization Review and supportive clerical duties to provide support to various departments.
RECEPTION/PHONE
1. Creates a welcoming environment for the patient and family. Exercises excellent customer service.
2. Answers phones within three rings.
3. Extends professionalism and compassion to all callers.
4. Provides timely accurate information.
5. Coordinates transportation of patients with parents/family as required by program.
UR/OPERATIONS DUTIES
- Assists in oversight of the program schedule to meet the unique needs of patient population and any unique service groups, based on level of care, balancing both quality and efficiency.
- Analyzes information from utilization review as to how much IOP has been used and to identify patients suitable to the IOP based on benefit availability.
- Maintains an accurate record of patient daily census to ensure accurate billing and reporting
- Explains the evaluation and admission process to the potential patient/referral source and informs patient of necessary items to bring for treatment.
- Completes clinical documentation that meets both qualitative and quantitative standards.
- Assists clinical team with outreach to collateral (employers, family members, sober living homes, medical providers).
- Works collaboratively with the Admissions Center staff, Business Office Manager, Therapists and Directors.
- Performs all other duties as required or assigned.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of the facility’s programs and services, including Inpatient, Residential and Outpatient programs; the assessment process and, transportation services.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or related field preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in mental health and/or substance abuse field preferred.

Salary: Starting from $22.00 to $25.00 an hour
