Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, and assisting with administrative tasks. Duties: - Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and address client inquiries - Collect and update patient information in our electronic medical records system - Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various tasks as needed - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area - Process payments for services rendered - Provide basic pet care instructions to clients Requirements: - Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred - Knowledge of pet care, animal handling, and dog training techniques is a plus - Familiarity with equine care is desirable but not required - Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in using computer systems and software for scheduling and record keeping - Knowledge of veterinary critical care, aseptic technique, and medical collection is advantageous We offer competitive compensation based on experience.
