We're Looking For You!

We are looking to add a dental assistant who is team-oriented, professional in behavior and appearance, motivated, energetic, positive, fun, and one who takes pride in and enjoys their work. Ideal candidates are those looking for a long-term position as we believe it is important to create lasting, caring relationships with our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
  • Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
  • Asking for the patient's medical history and taking blood pressure and pulse
  • Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
  • Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling)
  • Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health;(e.g., tooth brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling)
  • Taking impressions of patient's teeth for study casts (models of teeth)
  • Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer
  • Helping to provide direct patient care in all areas of dentistry

Requirements

Radiology and Coronal Polishing certification preferred.

Experience:

  • Dental assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
