About The Role

As a Finance Manager at United Utility, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial landscape and driving strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding financial planning, analysis, and reporting, ultimately enabling us to optimize our operations and maximize value creation for our stakeholders. By leveraging your financial acumen and leadership skills, you'll contribute directly to our mission of advancing the efficiency and sustainability of the electric utility industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning and forecasting processes to support strategic initiatives and operational objectives.
• Develop and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities and drive informed decision-making.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, analyzing variances and identifying key insights to drive performance improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial guidance and support for key business initiatives.
• Manage budgeting processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Oversee financial risk management activities and implement controls to mitigate risks effectively.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial analysis, planning, or related roles.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Proven leadership abilities with a track record of driving results in a collaborative environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion.

Key Nice-To-Haves

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• SAGE platform experience
