Williams Libraries is looking for an administrative assistant for the Research Services department. The Research Services Assistant will provide operational support for departmental programs, supervise student assistants, contribute to the department’s instruction and outreach activities and participate in the staffing of research help services (online and in person).
The Research Services department supports the academic mission of the college by providing research assistance, teaching information literacy skills, and developing opportunities for academic engagement with students and faculty. We are looking for a colleague who is enthusiastic about supporting this work, who enjoys working on a wide variety of concurrent projects, and thrives in a highly collaborative environment.
This is a fully-benefitted, part-time appointment (10 months, 22.5 hours per week or 9 months, 25 hours per week) reporting to the Head of Research Services and Library Outreach. This is primarily a day-time position, but there are occasional evening/weekend obligations. Work schedule may vary from week to week based on the timing of departmental programs/events.
