Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Manager. As the first point of contact for our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk area. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical administrative support and possess strong communication and organizational skills.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and assist with inquiries
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient flow of patients
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
Skills:
- Proficiency in phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Experience with electronic medical records systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry, filing, and record keeping
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
