Seeking an experienced Electrical Test Engineer to be responsible for developing, building, and executing test solutions for electronic controls and lighting systems. Excellent career opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, validate, and implement programs (including hardware and software) to test electrical hardware --- Figure out how products will fail and collaborate with design engineering for improvements.
• Design and build custom test equipment such as test PCBAs, harnesses, and fixtures.
• Develop and maintain automation-focused test software.
• Manage tests from set-up through execution.
• Work with design engineering and suppliers to determine root causes for test failures and determine corrective actions.
• Plan and conduct experimental, environmental, operational, and stress tests on product systems.
• Write test plans and test reports to support new product development engineering.
• Coordinate and manage product testing with outside agencies and Nationally Recognized Testing Labs (NRTL) as required.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.

2. 3 or more years of Electrical Hardware Testing experience.

3. 2 or more years of PCB Layout experience.
