Summary
You are an experienced, creative and pragmatic email marketer. You have a passion for communicating with customers to cultivate relationships and loyalty, and you love combining data with storytelling to ensure our email marketing is as thoughtful and impactful as possible. You enjoy collaborating with other team members and departments, but you can also thrive independently as you work to create sophisticated and polished email marketing campaigns and solutions that help sustain and grow our business. Together, we are building a world-class wine company and leading the Texas wine industry into the future. This position reports to the CMO and will be a hybrid role between our headquarters in Hye, Texas and remote work.
Essential functions

Oversee strategy, development, and execution for all email marketing activities for full family of WCWC brands (William Chris Vineyards and Lost Draw Cellars, currently)
Own and update Email Marketing calendar for WCWC brands
Create strategies to grow our email lists meaningfully and steadily for all brands
Manage relationships with our external email marketing service providers
Capture and present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPIs for email marketing, analyzing campaign performance and leading change/improvements as a result
Oversee creation - including design, copywriting, proofreading, testing, segmentation and list building - of all emails, ensuring best in class quality in our email communications
Upgrade our email templates using personalization and advanced features
Collaborate closely with DTC team to develop segmentation strategies and lists
Implement and maintain automated email marketing flows based on customer actions, purchase behavior, and tags/classifications to guide them through the key lifecycle phases of introduction, conversion, and retention
Work cross-functionally with all departments (i.e. Wine Club, Tasting Room, eCommerce, HR) as needed to formulate and execute email marketing initiatives and campaigns
Participate in training, webinars, summits, and conferences to ensure that we’re staying sharp on trends and opportunities in the email marketing space

Additional eligibility requirements
2-3 years of email marketing experience required
Experience with HubSpot strongly preferred, but not required
Strong knowledge of best practices and industry trends in email marketing
Degree in Marketing/Communications preferred, but not required
Customer Service and/or Hospitality industry experience a bonus
Desire to learn and master marketing software like Hubspot, Canva, Google Analytics, etc.
