Maintenance Technician
1st shift - 6am-4.30pm Mon-Fri (50 hours per week) OT
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist with preparing schedule for repairing all machines.
- Repair all machines that break down requires strong electrical knowledge and experience.
- Maintain a preventive maintenance on all machines.
- Maintenance of motors, bearings, PLC fault finding, gear boxes, sensors, switches etc
- Maintain and manage inventory on all parts.
- Assist in moving machines and departments.
- Create new ideas for better production.
- Work with outside vendors on purchasing new and used equipment as well as maintenance of equipment that cannot be performed on site.
- site maintenance - basic lighting, drainage, plumbing etc.
- Secure plant for closing each night and assist with the morning start-up as needed.
- Ability to work late hours, including weekends when needed.
- Operate grinding, drill press, power tools.
- Welding.
- Assist production staff if needed.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
