Wilklow & Associates , CPA, PC is Hiring a Payroll Specialist Near Colorado, CO

Payroll Specialist and Bookkeeper Candidate

Client interaction is guaranteed, so our ideal payroll specialist and bookkeeper candidate should be a personable professional who enjoys working with a diverse group of clients. Pay is commensurate with experience. The ideal payroll specialist candidate would have the following qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Associates degree in Accounting, required (recent graduates as well as seasoned veterans will be considered)
  • 1 - 3 years bookkeeping experience, preferred
  • Ability to manage several clients and their different accounting requirements.
  • Excellent software skills including all Microsoft programs and QuickBooks desktop and online.
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be reliable and detail-oriented
  • Must pass background check

Primary Duties

  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
  • Maintain client records and general ledger.
  • Prepare financial statements.
  • Prepare sales tax returns.
  • Prepare quarterly tax compliance reports.
  • Prepare payroll.
  • Additional duties to include answering phones, scheduling appointments, front desk support, etc.
