TheProduction Specialist assists with the end-to-end process of print production and direct mail campaigns, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution through final invoice. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, the Production Specialist is responsible for understanding all Wilen products and guidelines to assist with processing all necessary project information. The Production team, collectively, is responsible for developing and maintaining strong commercial client relationships by working through internal systems and processes to meet their requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and assist teams to develop new formats
• Submit pricing requests based on specifications from the client/account team
• Assist in managing commercial projects
• Submit schedule requests based on desired in-home (or mail) date from client/account team
• Place milestone material orders based on client confirmation
• Place special orders related to jobs via milestones
• Review creative WIPs (work in progress)
• Assist and support account team in any stage of the job lifecycle
• Draw templates, establish workflows, create VDP notes and meet with manufacturing for approvals
• Review and approve proofs and mockups
• Assist and support manufacturing in any stage of the job lifecycle
• Review and approve final invoices
• Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the printing and/or mailing industry with relatable experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail with exceptional follow-up and time management skills.
• Proactive self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to evaluate press layouts.
• Knowledge of the principles and practices associated with printing or mailing.
• Knowledge of USPS Guidelines.
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with vendors.
