Wildwood Racquet Club is Hiring a Bartender Near Fort Wayne, IN
Wildwood Racquet Club is looking for an enthusiastic Bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. Bartenders will be able to create classic and innovative drinks while exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes hourly wage ($12-$14/hour depending on experience) and cash tips at the end of each shift. We are looking for a Bartender to work weekly on Monday and/or Thursday evenings, and rotating Friday evenings. Each shift is approximately 6 hours in duration beginning at 6pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Requirements and skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks (recipes for craft cocktails are provided)
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate (liquor license and safe-serve certificate of completion required - reimbursement of liquor license after 90 days of employment)
