Wildman Business Group is Hiring a Business Development Sales Rep - Valparaiso, Indiana Near Valparaiso, IN

Job Summary:

The Business Development (BD) Sales Representative is responsible for selling, promoting, and growing the Wildman customer base in their designated sales region with the best solutions. Business Development Representatives have no ceiling on their income and can earn multiple pay components of salary, commission, and bonus opportunities, as well as a monthly cell phone and car allowance stipend. The average Wildman Sales Rep earns over $100,000 with our top Sales Reps earning more than $150,000.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet or exceed sales goals through a combination of outbound calls and customer prospecting/visits
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Wildman’s full range of solutions in order to drive sales within a prospective customer base
  • Develop local relationships and effectively differentiate Wildman's value proposition from competitors and gain market share
  • Successfully manage large sales territory by gathering customer information and competitive intel, and sharing with the management team as necessary
  • Professionally present sales proposals and negotiate service agreements
  • Use Salesforce/CRM in order to log necessary sales activities and customer information

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, two to three year’s experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software: Outlook, Word, Excel.
  • Salesforce CRM

Necessary Skills and Abilities:

  • Must be highly motivated and demonstrate persistence and strong listening skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal, problem resolution, and consultative sales skills
  • Ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow, and meet deadlines
  • Confidence in ability to calculate pricing figures such as discounts, interest, and percentages
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English as the primary language(s) used in the workplace

Work Requirements:

  • Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • This position is primarily travel based, visiting prospective customers in their office spaces
  • Conducts 1 call block/office day per week and 4 field days per week
  • Must have a reliable mode of transportation; proof of insurance and a clean BMV record is required
