Position Summary: The Account Executive - DOE (AE-DOE) is responsible for achieving sales and/or profitability objectives, from new and existing clients or accounts. The AE-DOE identifies marketplace opportunities, prospect and engage new clients, develop proposals, and manage the sales process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all sales and professional service solutions to one or more large, complex Federal Government accounts, both current and prospective. Includes booking, revenue, gross margin, payment, and forecasting accountability.
Leverages OEM, partner, and other business relationships to increase business revenue and margin through information technology solutions sales.
Assembles and prepares sales handoff packages in accordance with company policies and guidelines.
Making actionable and insightful recommendations for new products, extensions, or enhancements.
Must have the ability to develop and execute a profitable business plan.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, developing strategic account plans.
Must work closely with vendor partners to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in a timely resolution of order issues.
Establish long-term relationships with accounts.
Develops and maintains favorable relationships with new and existing customers to increase revenue.
Ensures that organizational goods or services consistently meet customer needs.
Has a strong understanding of Federal acquisition processes.
May lead and direct the work of others.

Job Qualifications/Requirements:
A 2‐year college degree is required, or equivalent education and experience, along with advanced technical or managerial credentials.
5 years of progressive experience selling IT solutions to the Department of Defense or security-focused civilian/intelligence agencies.
Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods.
Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills with an emphasis on understanding requirements.
Extensive industry contacts.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment with Customer Support Engineers, Inside Sales, and other Teammates and partners.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to grow accounts.
Ability to develop and execute against strategic goals and initiatives.
Ability to balance a large volume of workload with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize requirements and meet deadlines.
