Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled Lead Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various painting techniques and the ability to lead a team of painters to ensure high-quality workmanship. Responsibilities: - Oversee and coordinate painting projects from start to finish - Prepare surfaces for painting including sanding, scraping, and priming - Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Select appropriate paint or mix paints to achieve desired color - Lead and direct a team of painters to complete projects efficiently - Inspect work for quality control and adherence to specifications - Maintain a clean and safe work environment Qualifications: - Proven experience as a professional painter with expertise in construction painting, remodeling, and concrete finishing - Strong knowledge of color theory and the ability to match colors accurately - Proficiency in carpentry skills including fixture installation, frame carpentry, and trim carpentry - Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints - Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team - Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results Preferred Skills: - Experience in concrete finishing and build projects If you are a skilled Lead Painter looking to showcase your talents in a dynamic work environment, we encourage you to apply.
