Position: Seasonal Banquet Staff

Wild Basin Lodge, a family run, nationally recognized wedding venue is currently seeking seasonal staff to help our couples have the most amazing and wonderful day of their lives by creating fantastic memories that will last a lifetime. This is an excellent second job for someone looking to make some additional income. Events are typically done by 11 pm, so no late nights. Open availability is a must; most of our events are during weekends, but we have many events and shifts during the week as well. You will know when you’re working well in advance to make planning your time with another employer easy. Experience helpful but not necessary; we’ll train you! You’ll get to work both front of house with guests (and maybe even get some time helping out behind the bar) as well as getting some experience working alongside our amazing chef in the kitchen with food prep and more. Starting pay is $20/hr with the potential for tips. Our team is close knit and fun to work with. Come be a part of the best night of someone’s life!

All applicants must be at least 18 years of age, dependable, honest, motivated, energetic, and have a professional attitude. ServSafe and TIPS Certified a plus. You must be relatively local and have reliable transportation. Resume helpful but not necessary.

Job Overview and Requirements

Major Tasks and Key Responsibilities

• Excellent Communication skills – both verbal and written
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Able to stand for 10 hours and lift 50lbs
• Works as part of our wedding team
• Maintains cleanliness of venue at all times
• Maintain neat, clean and organized service and guest area according to restaurant and health department specifications; lift and empty bus tubs, morning and after hours cleaning, mopping etc.
• Ensure customers are happy and satisfied with products and the quality of service.
• Serve as a liaison between customers, management.
• Will be cross trained in order to assist in back of house duties including some food prep work, washing dishes, etc.
• Prepare room for dining by setting tablecloths, napkins, decorations, condiments, candles, glassware, service plates and utensils.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
