Job Summary: The House Supervisor is accountable for oversight of the scheduled shift as the on-site representative for the hospital. This position will delegate responsibilities and deliver quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Will round on all patient care and staffed areas on shift. Will carry a phone for ease of access for staff and administration. This position will report to the Chief Nursing Officer.

Job Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse with at least 4 years of experience.
• Recent Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit experience required.
• Previous Leadership/Nursing supervisor experience preferred.
• Current ALS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications, De-escalation training (obtain within first 90 days if not current)
• Personal Job-Related Skills: Effective strong oral, written communication, strong critical thinking skills, and collaboration skills are a priority. Ability to operate business office equipment including personal computers and possess basic computer skills.
• Physical and Mental Requirements: Position requires moderate periods of standing and walking and sitting for extended periods. Bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and lifting to 50 pounds. The ability to comprehend and follow routine written or verbal instructions or directions.
