Want to challenge yourself at a high-growth startup AND make a difference in the world?
Come work (and shower) in good company! Join the plastic-free, blissful revolution!
Hi, we are Good Time, Who Gives A Crap’s new sibling, and we’re super excited to introduce ourselves! We might be a younger sibling but we’re a little more understated in our ways, and we share a passion for creating do-good, feel-good products for our customers. Our aim is to remove plastic and nasty stuff from the bathroom and leave only joy, and we’ve just launched our first bundle of shower products.
Together with Who Gives A Crap, we donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. It’s like showering with superpowers! Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.
At Good Time, we believe creating a connection with our customers through our unique story and mission is key to building a lasting brand. As we expand our presence, we're seeking a passionate Growth Marketing Manager to join our growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in driving significant revenue growth by spearheading strategic customer acquisition initiatives across the UK, US, and AU markets. You’ll find new and innovative ways to get our products into people’s hands including exploring innovative marketing channels that go beyond just selling directly to consumers.
You’ll be the quarterback of Good Time’s growth! Reporting to the Good Time General Manager, you’ll develop winning strategies to attract new customers. This includes creating plans for various marketing channels (think social media, email, website ads) to exceed our goals. You'll also be our point person for managing our partnership with Amazon, making sure we get the best results and optimize our spending. Finally, you'll work closely with our Digital product team and media agency to test and improve our website and ensure a smooth buying experience for our customers.
Our team spans across the US and Australia, and we’re open to amazing candidates from anywhere in these two hubs. We’re not immune to the effects of challenging time zones, but we look to solve this by committing to 3-4 hours per day of collaboration time, which sees our US team aligning to PST afternoons and our Australian team sometimes diving into earlier mornings.
If you worked here this past month here are some things you might have been involved in:
You're a master of turning marketing ideas into reality! You have a proven track record of managing marketing campaigns from start to finish, from brainstorming creative concepts to launching and analyzing results. You've also developed multi-channel marketing programs and can clearly explain how all the moving parts work together to achieve the desired business outcomes – it's like conducting a marketing symphony!
To bring your marketing genius to life, you're comfortable navigating the tech world. You've got extensive experience or knowledge and comfort working within Looker, Shopify, GA4 or similar tools. These platforms are essential for analyzing campaign performance and optimizing your marketing magic. While not required, familiarity with Klaviyo, AWIN, or Creator IQ would be a plus for our specific marketing efforts.
You have a natural curiosity and a passion for finding growth
You consistently demonstrate a growth mindset - never settling - and are always on the lookout for new opportunities, channels and improvements that will help us hit our objectives, and generate learnings that we can roll out to other geos.
You’re both a thinker and a doer
You have proven experience not only developing and writing thoughtful brand plans but also executing successful marketing campaigns. You have a ‘bias for action’ approach - a hands dirty, getting shit done kind of mentality. You can strategically appraise what is a good opportunity and fit for the brand through insights, and are able to get the best out of creative teams through constructive feedback.
You heart organisation and communication
You are responsible for ensuring cross-functional and external partners are kept across project developments and requirements, overcoming the challenges of a remote-first environment. High level organisation, project management and great communication skills are your strong suits.
Data and numbers are your friends
You are confident in your ability to number crunch to measure and evaluate performance. You know how to own and manage a budget. You take data and use it to inform optimisations and recommendations that help achieve meaningful movement in brand awareness and conversion metrics.
You're resourceful
You’re someone who takes a proactive approach and can navigate ambiguity. You lean on your flexibility and ability to roll with the punches (e.g. on timezones) as a reliable and resilient team player so that you can deal with unexpected problems or tasks effectively.
You’re looking for a Good Time
Do you want your work to make the world a better place? Do you want to work with other people who feel the same way? What a coincidence — us too! We’re a young brand with the support of a seasoned player like Who Gives A Crap. It’s like having a rocket pack strapped to our backs! We may not have all the answers yet, but we’re ready to grow and collaborate with the best!
Why should you work with us?
First off, there’s the feel-good stuff. As a certified B Corp™, we work to make a difference every day while maintaining the highest standards of social and environmental impact. We also believe that helping to make the world a better place shouldn’t have to mean getting paid peanuts — it’s why we offer super competitive salaries, plus benefits like tailored learning and development opportunities, generous paid parental leave and free toilet paper and personal care products (yes, you read that right).
But you don’t have to take our word for it — our employees recently gave us our sixth consecutive Culture Amp engagement score of 90 and we’ve been named one of BuiltInLA’s “100 Best Places to Work” two years in a row.
Have you made it this far?
If you’re still reading, we think there’s a strong chance you might be our kind of person. Here’s the thing, though — research suggests that 60% of women and underrepresented folks might have already talked themselves out of applying. Even if you don’t check every box above, we want to encourage you to introduce yourself. We believe a diversity of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger — and the stronger our team, the closer we are to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
