SECURITY GUARD – Vehicle Patrol (Sonoma County)
Born from law enforcement and refined for the private sector, Whitestar Group’s Security Division provides the highest level of service available in the industry today. We specialize in public and private sector site protection as well as innovative security solutions for more complex and high-profile accounts.
We are looking to hire security guards who can work vehicle patrol contracts in Sonoma County. Must be able to work swing and graveyard shifts. To be considered, candidates must have an active Guard Card, be at least 25 years of age, have a valid driver license and a clean DMV record.
As a Security Guard, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government and more. We serve the most vulnerable populations in Sonoma and Napa Counties. Therefore, the ideal candidate is customer service focused and has some basic understanding of trauma-informed care. Attention to detail is a must. Our shifts are varied, active and require adept individuals who can think quickly on their feet.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated businesses, according to post orders. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a California Guard Card (or be in the process of obtaining your guard card)*
- Be at least 25 years of age for vehicle patrol.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Whitestar Group will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Starting pay is $21/hour.
