We are a family-owned and operated water bottling and delivery company with 20 years of history serving the valley.

We are looking for a quality Fleet Supervisor who we can trust to ensure our vehicles, forklifts and drivers comply with regulations, provide effective and ongoing Driver training, and set the example and acting as a role model for all other drivers.

Responsibilities

• Keep and maintain records for maintenance of company assets inclusive but not limited to vehicles and forklifts.
• Reduces costs of vehicles, forklifts, and other equipment by bringing repairs in-house with inspections and maintenance both planned and unplanned.
• Coordinates and verifies repairs when they must be outsourced.
• Assist in managing a budget with quotes, approvals, recording hours per job, and other tools
• Ensures that all interested parties are informed when vehicles and forklifts are taken out of service.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of drivers and their fleets.
• Work with Driver Manager to ensure all drivers are following our policies and procedures performing annual performance reviews, providing ongoing feedback, and administering corrective action when necessary.
• Assist with driver training (includes regular ride-alongs and hands-on training) and ensure drivers learn the proper policies and procedures that White Water has set into place.
• Work with the Driver Manager and Forklift Supervisor on trainer/trainee situations, including release to solo status and certifications from forklift to CMVs.
• Monitor and ensure ongoing DOT, Insurance, Vehicle Registration, and Driver compliance.
• Ensure all drivers complete and turn in daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR).
• Ensure all drivers are following our policies and procedures
• Consult with other leaders in the company to handle vehicle-related situations like accidents.
• Work with other departments to assist Drivers, i.e., Payroll, Maintenance, Training, Corrective Actions, etc.
• Assist Driver Manager with optimizing routes.
• Maintain strong knowledge of the routes and how White Water deliveries operate.
• Run deliveries/fill in for drivers or forklift operators during as needed and maintain the responsibilities of drivers when doing so.
• Provide last minute coverage for deliveries to upset customers.
• Fill in for Driver Manager as needed.
• Maintain a positive attitude that promotes a constructive, team atmosphere.
• Set the example and act as a role model for all other drivers.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
• May perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Experience:

Required

• Experience in vehicle maintenance (CMVs preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks as required
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred

• Commercial Driver’s License (Class A or B) and tanker endorsement
• Ability to operate forklift
• Knowledge of Transportation and Forklift regulations
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures
• Familiarity with tire service, welding, and soldering techniques is a plus

Monday-Friday 5:30am-2pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
