White River Area Agency on Aging is Hiring a Kitchen Aide Near Mountain View, AR

The Kitchen aide is responsible for assisting with the food service for assigned Senior Life Center. This position works under the direct supervision of the kitchen Supervisor and the general supervision of the Senior Center Director.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, packaging, and serving of meals
  • Assist in maintaining a clean & sanitary kitchen following a regular cleaning schedule.
  • Assist with checking orders on arrival.
  • Assist with maintaining up-to-date inventory of foods & supplies.
  • Assist with monitoring temperature logs

Knowledge

  • Good communication skills
  • Good corrected hearing & vision
  • Must be able to left 50lbs.
  • Must be courteous at all times.
  • Must be able to pass state & federal mandated background checks

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in food services preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour

Shift:

  • Day shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • Mountain View, AR 72560: Relocate before starting work (Required)
