We are looking for a reliable LPN or RN to care for pediatric patients. You will work under the supervision of a physician in a small private practice. The ideal candidate will have prior pediatric experience, be able to multitask, and work well with others as a team.

This position is a four day a week, 32 hour commitment with rotating Saturday morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Document medical history
• Capture and document patient vitals
• Observe patients under treatment to identify progress, side effects of medications etc.
• Administer injections/vaccines and administer medications
• Assist MD with procedures
• Collect samples for lab testing
• Provide education on diagnoses and treatments
• Communicate with patients’ family to provide instructions and advice

Skills

• Proven experience in a pediatric medical practice
• Familiarity with medical practice health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and practice terminology
• Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Active North Carolina LPN or RN license and CPR training

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
