What you’ll do…

    • Splice fiber optic cables in both aerial and underground telecom infrastructure.
    • Independently build, prep, splice, tag and test new cables to meet client requirements.
    • Locate and repair cables faults to maintain existing cable network without causing signal failure interruptions.
    • Validate and test end-to-end service provisioning for the cable network.
    • Confirm accurate cable terminations on cross connect, patch panels, hubs and routers.
    • Review site surveys, condition discrepancy reports, design drawings, technical manuals for cable installation feasibility.
    • Understand construction prints and splice schematics.
    • Maintain project information such as production sheets, time sheets, and customer required paperwork.
    • Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
Qualifications:

Who we are looking for…

    • 2 years of experience in fiber splicing required
    • Proficient in the use of all test and splicing equipment and must know how to use computer and all software used by the company concerning the completion of fiber optic projects.
    • You are at least 18 years old & authorized to work in the United States
    • You can pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical and criminal background check
    • You have a valid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company.
