Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Do you enjoy working on a team and outdoors? Then you may have found your next career move. We’re looking for a Coax Splicer to join our team at Communications Construction Group, LLC (CCG) and help connect America.


What you’ll do…

  • Repair or splice in new line as needed to complete the testing and certification of the project.
  • Place and install required coax cable when necessary to complete assignment(s).
  • Install all passive and active devices, pedestals, and vaults and coax splice cases required to house CATV equipment per customer requirements.
  • Test Coax-RF lines for acceptable signal between points-continuity and fault.
  • Utilize RF Meters and TDR accurately
  • Maintain project information such as production sheets, time sheets, and customer required paperwork.
  • Maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all regulations, procedures and policies
Qualifications:

Who we are looking for…

  • Qualified candidates will have a strong work history, willingness to learn, and a displayed aptitude and commitment to the cable/lineman field
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner
  • Ability to read and interpret construction prints, plans, and specifications
  • Basic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner
  • Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
  • You are authorized to work in the United States
  • You can pass a pre-employment drug screen, DOT Physical and criminal background check
  • You have a valid State driver's license including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company.
